The blying technique consist in bleaching a natural fabric (non-white) using a stencil, and then dying it. It gives a precise but not frozen result.
With this technique, we can print patterns without adding physical matter to the natural fabric (counter to screen-printing which add ink, or flocking).
The pattern is marked forever in the fabric, and wont go away with time.
Rusting technique consist in transfering rust from oxidizable materials on a natural fabric.
It gives a faded and hazardous result, rich in shades.
